Christ for the Philippines

When the Alparaques went back to the Philippines in 1981 they brought back a good collection of theological books, Bible commentaries, Bible dictionaries, concordances, and many other religious literature and publications. The bulk of the original collection was donated by Mrs. Marian King from the library of her late husband, Guy E. King. This became the nucleus for the first CFTP Lending Library. There was a tremendous need for this type of library due to the high cost of acquiring these materials for use by pastors and church workers. Since 1981, eight lending libraries have been established in various cities. Books and materials are still collected on a regular basis and shipped to the Philippines to continue to stock the eight libraries, and expand to more locations.
